What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?
At different stages in life, we can benefit from developing ourselves in different ways. The Still Mind Centre offers a range of possible ways to work.
Perhaps you are feeling tense, anxious, unhappy or often sad. Maybe you are feeling adrift or having problems dealing with some person or issue. For these situations and many more, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, are proven way of addressing these issues in a relatively short space of time.
For those who want to add or develop a spiritual dimension to their life, Still Mind integrates spiritual practices such as dream, prayer, meditation and ritual into the basic Insight technique. These practices draw on Colin's studies and familiarity with Eastern religions and Christianity. His understanding of Jungian ideas as well as his experience as a conventional psychologist, most recently at the Cairnmillar Institute and St Michaels, will help you discover and travel your own personal path.
